The Massif Morrone, place west of the Majella, consists of a long, narrow mountain range, compact and rugged at the same time, oriented NW-SE; shaped massive and rounded, it rushes, with steep rocky cliffs, on the one hand in the Conca Peligna and the other in the Orta Valley.
Just the rocky crags are undisputed reign of the Apennine chamois and continuous frequenting the Bear and the Wolf without neglecting the presence of rare orchid, the Nigritella widderi, one of the most valuable species of the entire protected area.

Duration: 3 days 2 nights bivouac in the open or in makeshift shelters at most

Equestrian activities: field test work to verify the technical capacity and hike about three hours for acclimatization and knowledge mounts on Friday, about 7 hours riding / day Saturday and Sunday

Harness: English Trekking (for the horses in foster care)

Gaits: step (trot and gallop only if indicated by the Guide after careful consideration of the group and without any derogation safety for horses and riders)

Horses: Haflinger (for the horses in foster care) are well trained and trained

The itinerary runs almost entirely in the Natural Reserve of Lama Bianca, which takes its name from the steep rocky slope (blade) in it that is characterized by the typical white color of the limestone rocks. The trek is particularly interesting in terms of nature and landscape with large gashes on the scenic Val Orta and mountains of Morrone. Here the Majella massif presents a more uniform and the peaks reach higher heights.

The itinerary unfolds in Upper Orta Valley departing from Sant'Eufemia and reach the medieval village of Roccacaramanico. The trek is particularly interesting in terms of nature and landscape with large gashes on the scenic mountains of Morrone and the Majella massif with its highest peaks.
