It is an archaeological site of considerable charm, dating back to lower Palaeolithic: a small valley at 800 m.a.s.l., originally covered by a lake, in which seven archaeological layers were discovered, with stone artefacts traceable to Neanderthal men, who hunted and chipped stones. Thanks to geological and archaeological studies, it was possible to reconstruct the social and economic life of the Palaeolithic man. The results of such findings are illustrated on panels located within the group of dry-stone dome huts, recreated following the seasonal settlement model of mountain shepherds and farmers characterizing the area. Before reaching the archaeological site, on the left you can admire an original complex of huts with stone pens, whose dome-shaped vaults were built following the technique of corbelling. The biggest hut has two floors.
